A NATURAL PROCESS

Drying, or dehydration, is a great way to preserve fruit and vegetables after harvest, a process that has been practiced since antiquity. In addition to natural air, or solar drying, dehydration can be achieved through a mechanical food dehydrator. A food dehydrator uses a heat source and airflow to reduce the water content of foods. The water content of food is usually very high, typically 80% to 95% for various fruits and vegetables. Removing moisture restrains various bacteria from growing and spoiling food as well as dramatically reducing the weight of the food.

InagroTiba uses both dehydration processes (natural and machine) to remove moisture content from its fruits and vegetables. Our dehydrator machine has variable temperature and conveyor speeds to suit different products and their requirements.
